NURSERY - Daycare, Playgroup, Pre-Kindergarten, PP1 & PP2
At our nursery school, the Daycare, Playgroup, Pre-Kindergarten, PP1, and PP2 levels are thoughtfully designed to nurture the whole child by building a strong foundation in both academic learning and practical life skills.
Daycare
At the Daycare level, we provide a warm, nurturing, and secure environment where children are cared for with attention and compassion throughout the day. Our program focuses on safe supervision, ensuring every child’s well-being while they engage in a balance of free play and guided activities that support early development and exploration.
Admission Age is below 2 years.
Daycare Activities include:
- Safe supervision of children throughout the day
- Free play and guided play activities
- Feeding and snack/meal supervision
- Nap and rest time supervision
- Diaper changing / toileting support when necessary
- Basic care, comfort, and emotional support
- Safe handover of children to parents/guardians
Playgroup
In Playgroup, children are introduced to early learning through engaging, hands-on activities that promote creativity and development. They are:
- Modelling and painting
- Colour recognition
- Picture exploration
- Creative play & art
Early literacy & numeracy - Music & movement
Puzzles & thinking skills - Social interaction & teamwork
Outdoor play & exploration - Faith-based learning (Bible stories, songs & prayer)
- Building confidence, creativity & holistic development.
Admission Age is between 2 and 3 years.
Pre-Kindergarten
At the Pre-Kindergarten level, learners take the next step in their early education journey, building confidently on the foundation established in Playgroup. They learn:
- Creative play, art & exploration
Early literacy (phonics, reading & writing) - Numeracy & problem-solving
- Inquiry-based learning & discovery
- Communication & language development
- Social skills & teamwork
- Music, movement & outdoor play
- Environmental awareness & nature exploration
- Life skills, values & Christian character (love, kindness, honesty, prayer)
- Nurturing confident, God-fearing, curious learners with a strong foundation for pre-primary
Admission Age is 3 years.
PP1 (Pre-Primary 1)
At this level, learners begin to build on the foundational skills acquired in Playgroup. They learn:
- Recognition of letter sounds
- Reading simple two-letter and three-letter words and practice early writing skills
- Identifying numbers and develop basic numeracy
- Early literacy & numeracy foundations
- Montessori play-based learning
- Social skills & teamwork
- Life skills & independence
- Environmental awareness
- Faith & Christian values
- Learning through observation & play
- Building curiosity, confidence & readiness for learning
Admission Age is 4 years.
PP2 (Pre-Primary 2)
In PP2, learners gain more confidence and independence in their learning. They Learn:
- Reading simple syllables and begin blending sounds to form words
- Improved writing through guided exercises (e.g., filling in missing letters and numbers)
- Developing stronger numeracy skills through sequencing and basic problem-solving
- Phonics, reading & writing readiness
- Numeracy & problem-solving skills
- Montessori hands-on learning
- Inquiry-based learning
- Communication & social development
Life skills & responsibility - Environmental awareness & digital exposure
- Faith & Christian values
- Continuous assessment
- Preparation for smooth transition to Grade 1
